빛의 화가로 불림.
1958년 1월 19일 미국 캘리포니아 새크라멘토Sacramento에서 출생.
캘리포니아의 소도시 Placerville에서 성장.

1976년 고등학교 졸업.
1976년~1978년 캘리포니아의 버클리대학 졸업.
1982년 어린 시절 연인 Nanette와 결혼.
1994년 올해의 아티스트로 선정.
1995년 올해의 그래픽 아티스트로 선정.
