프레드릭 칠드 하쌈(Frederick Childe Hassam (1859-1935) 2
미국 인상주의 화가
1859년 미국 메사츄세츠주Massachusetts  도체스터 출생.
1880년대 보스톤 미술학교에서 공부.
1876년부터 신문사, 잡지사 일러스터.
1886년 유럽 여행. 프랑스에서 3년 간 체류.
미국문학예술아카데미 회원.
보스톤 아트글럽 회원.
미술, 문학, 연극 진흥원 회원.
미국인상파 10인 화가.
유화, 수채화, 에칭과 리도그라프 등 3000여 점의 작품.
모네의 영향을 받아 빛의 효과를 그림에 부여.
모네처럼 다이내믹하지 않고 오히려 피사로의 그림처럼 소박하고 안온한 느낌.
1935년 이스트 뉴욕 햄튼(East Hampton, New York)에서 사망.
