존 윌리암 고드워드John Williamb Godward(1861년~1922년) 2
1861년 8월 9일 영국에서 출생.
영국의 빅토리아풍 신고전주의 화가.
1887년 로열아카데미 여름전시회에 작품 전시.
아름답고 우아한 여인의 모습을 회폭에 담았다.
1905년 그림의 모델이 된 여인과 함께 이탈리아로 이주.
1922년 영국으로 돌아옴.
1922년 12월 61세로 생활고와 우울증으로 자살.
